		<description>Hi Eric,
I have talked to Karl in Nanyuki and if you have time while staying overnight give him a call . He could be a real help should you need something. He is an expert on Kenya and Tansania and knows a lot about the country and the road conditions. Feel free to call him. The local phone number is 62 for Nanyuki, extension 32 448.
Regards – Helmut.</description>

		<description>Hi Eric,
we are very relieved that you arrived safely in Marsabit - I guess the worst part in every aspect lies behind you. A few more days and you&#039;ll be back in &quot;civilization&quot; - tarmac roads, cafes, dry cleaners, shopping malls selling solid poles - don&#039;t get spoiled!
I hope you can get rid of that saddle-sore. Might be wise to spend a little more time in the truck until you are pain-free for the other 6666 km?
Take care and beware of the Kenyan traffic!

		<description>Hi Eric

I&#039;m getting worried for you, though you look fit on your photograph. Don&#039;t push yourself too far. Felt every bump on the road with you.

<description>What a challenge this has been for you so far. Well done, but as Dave and Sue say, dont kill yourself. Mum always asks how you are and I have to report that you are fine but you are looking a bit lean in the photo.Hopefully the saddle sores are all behind you now - if you will excuse the pun.
